Is this still a negative test?

Walgreen's one step pregnancy test with purple cap. l+ = pregnant, l- = not pregnant. I took the test 6 days late for my period. The test showed a very faint negative as soon as I begin to pee on it. But before I got to wait the full 2 mins someone came in so I left and had to come back to the bathroom about 20 mins later. And the control line was still dark blue but the test area was still a faint negative... is that still negative?
