What does "Flat Mucosa" mean in an EGD report?

I was told that I had flat mucosa found in my small intestine, but all the other reports said everything else was normal. Is flat mucosa a normal find in the small intestine? No one bothered to explain any of this to me, and all I know is that biopsies were taken. Please help, thanks.
