Where can i get a boot cast for my ankle?

I hurt my ankle the other day and im using crutches but their kinda a pain. but is there anywhere like cvs or Walgreen's that i could get a boot cast instead of using these crutches? I am going to the doctor but if they don't give me the boot cast I'm stuck with crutches so is it possible to buy them anywhere?
