What quick fix can I use to empty out my system (intestines)?

TMI, but I'm in need of a quick fix to help lose weight fast. I hear that b/4 a surgery they will usually tell you to drink a bottle of MAGNESIUM CITRATE SOLUTION to empty your system but will this help with weight loss? What can I use that's fast & inexpensive?
